Vicar hails from Pullad, Kerala. He is a member of the Maramon Marthoma Church. He was born and brought up in Mumbai. He has a degree in Biotechnology from the University of Mumbai. Achen did his theological studies at the Mar Thoma Theological College in Kottayam - class of 2007.
Achen’s first posting was as the Students' Chaplain of Bangalore. In 2012, Achen was posted at Padi, Chennai as the Vicar and Student’s Chaplain. From 2015, he was in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh where he served as the Vicar, Missionary and School Manager.
Achen's parents are settled in Pullad. Achen's only sister is married to Rev. Samson Samuel. They now minister in the Marthoma Church at Jaipur.
Our Kochamma, Mrs. Betsy Thomas hails from Venmoney, Kerala. She was born and brought up in Dubai. She did her B.Tech in Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering at Pandalam and M.Tech at Karunya, Coimbatore. Kochamma's parents are in Dubai. Her brother stays with her parents. Her sister and husband are lawyers and are settled in Kottayam.
Kochamma has served as a Sunday School Teacher and Superintendent in Dubai and was an active member of the choir and Sevika Sangham. They are blessed with a little baby girl, Serah who is three months old.
