Pastor K G Jose was born in Punthala, Chengannur, Kerala, India, to late K C George and Pennamma George on 25th July 1962. At the age of 12 he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as personal Savior while remaining a member of Marthoma Church. During the year 1978 the whole family came to Pentecostal faith and took water baptism. He felt the strong hand of God, asking to serve the Lord and finally submitted at the age of 17.
Pastor Jose joined Faith Theological Seminary in 1980 and got baptized in the Holy Spirit during the first fasting and prayer in the Seminary. He continued B.D. at Union Biblical Seminary, Pune, M.Th in United Theological College, Bangalore and Ph.D at Serampore University in Old Testament. During the period of studies more emphasis was given to language studies in Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic, and German.
Pastor Jose began teaching ministry at Sharon Bible college, Tiruvalla and then the next twenty years at Faith Theological Seminary, Manakala where he functioned as Administrator and Principal. He also served as a Ph. D. guide under Serampore University.
The pastoral ministry began at the Assemblies of God Church, Tiruvalla (1992-1995), Kerala Christian Assembly, Toronto (2010-2014) and Philadelphia Full Gospel Church, Philadelphia (2014-2017).
Pastor Jose regularly wrote articles in Good News Weekly, Trumpet, Kahalam, Shepherd’s Voice, Assemblies of God Messenger, Revive, Malayalam Study Bible, and Malayalam Bible Encyclopedia.
Pastor Jose is blessed with his wife Elizabeth Jose who also studied B.D. and M. Th. from Faith theological Seminary and taught for six years at Faith theological Seminary. They have a boy and girl, living in St Catharines, Canada.
