Rev Palmer Paramadhas, can be best described as vibrant and enthusiastic leader with a passion for people. The burden for God’s chosen and the great commission to lead the lost to eternal salvation birthed the Atlanta Tamil Church in the year 2000. Though it was a humble beginning the vision was so strong that it drew families from all across the US and the world. Today, our pastor not only caters to the spiritual needs of the people at church but to the society at large.

Though he was born and raised in a traditional Christian family, he received the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior on September 13th 1985. Shortly after, he was baptized with fire from above receiving the anointing of the Holy Ghost on Nov 29th 1985. Within a year, the spirit moved him to obedience in water baptism on Aug 29th 1986 in Saudi Arabia, the iron-curtained nation – publicly declaring his faith and proclaiming to the world that he had found his true Master. God’s hand moved mightily in Rev. Paramdhas’s life, then, an accomplished plastic engineer from India’s premier institution Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology.

While pursuing an illustrious career in the Middle East, he was actively involved in the local church, growing spiritually and in stewardship responsibilities since May 3rd 1990 – from a Sunday school teacher to deacon and finally an elder in Tamil Full Gospel Church, Oman. God used him to preach the Word of God in India, Oman, Singapore, UAE and USA. His first opportunity to visit the US was in July 1996 as a delegate to the World Tamil Christian Conference in New York City. Later, by divine appointment he and his wife Susheela Paramadhas re-located permanently to USA in the fall of 1999. God’s grace and abundant mercies continued to direct their path leading them in miraculous ways. Even, in a new country Rev. Paramadhas’s professional skills earned him the reputed Gold-level membership in the Society for Plastics Engineers (SPE), USA.

Even in the height of his secular profession, the Master was silently yet surely calling Rev. Paramadhas to full-time ministry. Rev. Paramdhas was ordained as a Christian minister after having attained to the Scriptural standards prescribed by the Karnataka Maranatha Pentecostal Church in Bangalore, India. He also earned a Master of Ministry in New Testament from International Institute of Church Management and did a Master of Ministry in Leadership from Southwestern Christian University in 2005.
