Parigaari Ministries

L.EDWARD RAJA MANICKAM, alias Bro.S.L. Edward Raj, has wonderful visions, to serve the Lord Jesus & for His Kingdom.

He is a 9th child to Mr.V.S.Lourdusamy(late) and L. Mariaselvam(late), a poor weaver family. His early life was not as lucky as you may think. Striving hard to pass over his 9th Class of higher secondary, Fr.Masilamani s.j., helped him to finish his P.U.C in Bangalore.

Followed by small professions in Madurai, he joined as an attender in a Communication Centre called ‘SATHANGAI’. Fr. Vima Amalan, his another Parental Priest, guided him, encouraged and supported him to learn several kinds of Professions. He made him to study Communication Skills including Music, Drama, Videography,& Sound Engineering.

Later he joined as a Sound Engineer in Rohith Recordings, Chennai in 1995 and worked under Mr. Jollee Abrahaam for 3 years, and then he joined in Music Mindss Recording Studio in 1998 and there he worked under Mr. Vincent George for 8 years.

In 1997, he got married to E. Princy Selva Sundari, and have 2 male Kids namely, E. Martin Charles Masil(1997), & E. Christo Ebinezar(2002).

Though these couple have been born and brought up in Madurai in a Roman Catholic family, they had not tasted the Salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ. In 2001, initially, Bro.S.L. Edward raj received the salvation and got baptized by Pr. Moses Rajasekar, in January 2002. Two years later, his wife, Princy was ministered by Pr. Lavarandian, received Salvation and got baptized in NLAG church, under Pr.D. Mohan in February 2004, and they as family joined as members of NLAG church-Chennai.

The Lord God granted them many uplifts in their life, to taste His love. The Lord God promised them a Recording studio to own by themselves, to glorify His name alone serve His People. To fulfill His promise Word, He gave him a Recording studio in October, 2006, which has been named as CHRISTO DIGI SOUND. Need for money was met by one of his friend Mr.Vijay Antony. For a period of an year, he was a partner for the studio, and later, he handed over the studio to Bro.S.L. Edward raj, in terms of receiving the money back in small installments for 5 years. The days were very hard for them to run and meet the needs since he has dedicated the studio for the Glory of Lord alone. Need for Updating the equipments was there periodically. And for this cause, they had to search and borrow new finance. In faith, they stood stubborn for the Lord . Two and half years later, the Lord answered the Prayers of Bro. S.L.Edward raj and his family, turned his friend’s heart to sweep away the interest amount which comes nearly Rs.12 lakhs, on August 5,2009 and enabled him to own the studio without debts. Glory to God. Hallelujah!

While walking on waters and fire of life sequences, he received the gift of writing and composing new songs for the Lord Jesus. Till today, he has written 350 and above songs. Glory to God!. And by the Lord’s gracious Leading, he has selected few songs, did music, produced and released the albums in the name ‘parigaari – the healer’and in another title "SUKANTHA VAASANAI". These songs now do a wonderful ministry among Christians and Non-Christians worldwide, to give a new hope in Christ Jesus.

He is an actor from his yound age, so with the Lord’s great leading, he has joined himself with his family to act and do ministry, with PRAJAPATHY team - A Live Stage Play on Life of Jesus, Found & Directed by Bro. Rubert Ragunathan and Sis. Jeya Rubert of Alleluiah Prayer Fellowship-Mylapore,Chennai., who are now the spiritual Parents of this family.

With the leading of the Holy Spirit, he has formed and founded the parigaari ministries- a religious and charitable trust, to live a meaningful life & to stand before the Lord God the Father as a truthful and fruitful servant of Jesus Christ.
