Indian Pentecostal Church Tabernacle, Dallas, Inc. had our humble beginnings on August 30th, 1998 with a few families, to better serve the spiritual needs of the rapidly growing Indian community in the metropolitan city of Dallas and with a vision of world evangelization.

Rev. Daniel V. Mathai served as an interim pastor until Rev. Jacob Koshy was appointed as the senior pastor in September 1998. Under Pr. Koshy’s leadership, the assembly purchased its current facility in June 1999.

In July of 2000, Rev. Daniel Samuel (Veeyapuram Georgekutty), was appointed as the Pastor and President of the church. He served the church in this capacity until July, 2005. Under the leadership of Pastor Daniel Samuel, the church grew in membership and spirituality.

From July 2005 through July 2008 Rev. Thomas V. Koshy, a senior minister of the Indian Pentecostal Church in North America, served as the senior pastor and president of this congregation. His ministry was also a great blessing for the church.

Rev. K. P Mathew, a well-known Bible teacher and theologian, served as the Pastor of the church from September 2008 through January 2013. Rev. Mathew’s ardent leadership and God’s grace sustained the congregation through a very stormy period.

Since June 2013, Rev. Dr. John K. Mathew has been serving as the Pastor and President of this congregation. The ministry of Rev. Mathew and his wife Shirley is a great blessing for the Tabernacle Family.

From the moment of its inception, the hand of God has been with the church in every aspect of our being, and the church is growing in membership. The church has various ministries to cater to different age groups of its membership. We are also involved in various charity projects of the local community and India. The church adopted nine mission fields of I.P.C. Perambra Area and has been supporting in all their needs from 2009.

Fruitful ministry and service, both here and abroad, is a calling to which I.P.C. Tabernacle will remain committed. We will continue to focus on the missions and remain dedicated to the purposes for which He has called us until His appearance, when we shall be caught up to be with Him forevermore.
