We are a second generation Mar Thoma Church located in Northern NJ .The word “Mar Thoma” translates to Saint Thomas, who was one of the twelve disciples of Jesus Christ that came to the Malabar Coast of India in A.D. 52. We, as a community of believers, share in the burden of proclaiming the Gospel through Worship, Missions, Outreach, and Fellowship.We are a prayerful community as Prayer is deeply rooted in our worship and the visible source of power for our faith in action. We are a community of faithful Stewards, who have been given the responsibility of taking care of God’s creation. We reference the Holy Bible as inspired by God, inerrant, sufficient, and the final authority over our beliefs and actions. We were Inaugurated as a Congregation on October 1st, 2017 in a blessed Holy Communion service led by Diocesan Secretary, Rev. Denny Philip and Diocesan Episcopa, Rt. Rev. Dr. Isaac Mar Philoxenos. The Congregation started with 43 families/individuals and is currently pastored by Rev. Jaisen A. Thomas at Christ Community Church in Waldwick, NJ.
We are Redeemer MTC, a second generation Mar Thoma Congregation located in Northern NJ. Our Sunday School and Services are held at Christ Community Church, 136 Wyckoff Ave, Waldwick, NJ.
