The Orlando Mar Thoma Church is one of the five Mar Thoma worshiping communities in Florida, USA. Known officially as the Mar Thoma Syrian Church of Malabar, our church traces its origins to the establishment of the Christian Church in the East in AD 52, by the blessed St. Thomas, an apostle of Jesus Christ.
We are a fellowship of believers coming together to declare the glory of the Lord and celebrate Jesus as King. We study the Bible, practice what we learn and in the process help each other grow. We follow the Syrian Episcopalian format of liturgy, and gather for worship services in both Malayalam and English.
The Mar Thoma Church defines itself as “Apostolic in origin, Universal in nature, Biblical in faith, Evangelical in principle, Ecumenical in outlook, Oriental in worship, Democratic in function, and Episcopal in character”.
All are welcome and if you are here visiting Central Florida, join us for fellowship at our sanctuary in downtown Oviedo, Florida. We hope our time together will be an enriching experience for the body of Christ!
