In 1860s, London Missionaries spread the word of God in Tirupur even though foundations are made through church activities in 1950s itself in Tirupur from the districts of Coimbatore and Erode.
Till 1950s there was no church to Worship God in Tirupur, so Paul used to visit every home to preach word of God. Soon by Grace of God, Luthran Church in sababathipuram was permitted for weekly prayer meets on 4th Sunday of every month.
