The Church of Christ the King was opened on May 1, 1990. The foundation was laid and the small hut church was dedicated in November 1988 by the Bishop Dr. Sundar Clarke. Then, the New Church Building and Tower was constructed and dedicated officially on May 1, 1990 by Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. M. Azariah. The Laying Stone for Parsonage and Sexton Quarters was laid on November 1997 and the same was dedicated during January 24, 1999. Since then, by the grace of Lord and the continous contribution of our members, the Church has developed.
