St. Paul’s Orthodox Church Powai has become a full-fledged parish in the year 1993 and is an organ of “The Malankara Orthodox Church” of India. Initially, a prayer group of 10 to 15 members was started under St. Mary’s Orthodox Church, Dadar. The very first service was conducted by Rev Fr Paul Adai on 10th March 1985 at the IIT Community Hall, Powai and it was continued till the year 1990.
