Kerala Christian Assembly took root in 1992 with few Malayalee families from the state of Kerala in India getting together and establishing a church. The fellowship appointed Rev. George Thomas as temporary pastor till Pastor K. C. Chacko from Philadelphia was appointed in 1993. Pastor Chacko and his family served the church for 7 years.

Our Sunday School for all ages starts at 9:30 am on Sundays. Students are grouped into classes from Kindergarten to grade 12. A young adult class is taught by our Youth Pastor Jerin Thomas. At present, there are over 100 children attending our Sunday School and are taught by born again spirit filled teachers. That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death. (Phil 3:10)

Our objective for this ministry is to facilitate a learning environment to know our creator through the Holy Bible and to enable the children to have a personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ at a young age. Through our Sunday School ministry, our children accept our Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior and obey him in water baptism at an early age.

We encourage our teachers to change classes every six months. Exams are held every semester and the students are graded according to their performance. The Sunday School Anniversary is held during the end of the year to celebrate and recognize the outstanding students. Children perform group activities based on the curriculum taught during the year
