St Mary's O S C CBD Belapur was established on 1st may 1995, vide kalpana No. 162(A) 95 dated 28.06.1995 under the signature of the Late Lamented Philipose Mar Theophilose , Metropolitan of Bombay , Metropolitan of Bombay & Ankamali. The church started with a few families and now it has 67 families staying in CBD-Belapur, Kharghar & Seawood in Navi Mumbai. We conduct all spiritual organizations such as MMVS, SUNDAY SCHOOL, MGOCSM, OCYM, PRAYER GROUP, etc.... In the last 17 years the following Priests have served as Vicars: Rev Fr Jesudasan, Rev Fr T U Thomas, Rev Fr P A Kuriakose, Rev Fr T E Issac, Rev Fr Abraham Joseph, Rev Fr Thomas Varghese, Rev Fr Joji George, Rev Fr Thomas Mathai(Manish Achen), Rev Fr Scaria Varghese (Santhosh Achen), Rev Fr Presquillas Peter, Rev Fr Thomas Chacko (Rijo Achen) is the present Vicar. By the grace of Almighty God, we have recently bought a plot of land at CBD Belapur in Artist Village sector 8B for the purpose of worship. We are thankfully remembering the Late Lamented Philipose Mar Theophilose and H G Geevarghese Mar Coorilose for their valuable blessings and guidance; and also all the other priests and all office bearers who have guided and contributed to the church in the past. We also express our sincere gratitude and respect to one and all that have helped in the steady growth of our church.
