St.Antony's Malankara Syrian Catholic Church was blessed on 1975 August 24th by his Grace Most.Rev.Dr.Benedict Mar Gregorios the then Archbishop of Trivandrum.
A shrine was constructed and blessed by Most.Rev.Dr.Benedict Mar Gregorios on 1982.
When the number of pilgrims increased the space was not enough to accommodate the faithful,so the backside of the church was demolished and the size was increased lengthwise and breadthwise and was blessed on 11th March 1990 by Most.Rev.Dr.Benedict Mar Gregorios.
The old church was completely demolished on 2009 and a new church was constructed under the able leadership of Fr. Jacob Kalianthanam on 2010 February 5th and was blessed by His Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cardinal Cleemis Catholicos.
